Delray's gorgeous beaches are a highlight of the area and are just a mile from the cottages. Chaise lounges and umbrellas are available for rent on the beach, so bring your refreshments and yourself for a comfortable, easy day of relaxing by the waves.
March - October is Sea Turtle nesting season.

Atlantic Avenue is the heart of East Delray but the places to see and things to do extends well beyond. The cottage are a little less than a mile north of 'The Ave', and less than half a mile from Pineapple Grove.

This is a very bike-friendly beach town, and Delray Bikes will deliver beach cruisers to your door and pick them up at the end of your stay.
Street-legal golf carts are allowed in Delray on streets with a speed limit of 35 mph or less. Roads around the cottages are golf cart friendly.

What types of accommodations do you offer?
The Sand Dollar Cottage is a charming two-bedroom cottage, uniquely designed for comfort, relaxation, and privacy. If location is what you're looking for, this is the spot, located just steps from Atlantic Avenue in the heart of Delray's Historic Cottage District.

Are there cleaning or other fees?
There is a $250 cleaning fee for every stay. We do deep cleans between guests, and our cleaning teams are excellent and are paid a fair market rate.

What is your cancellation policy?
We know life happens. You will receive a full refund if you cancel at least 30 days before check-in, a 50% refund between 30 and 15 days before check-in, and within fifteen days of check-in, it's non-refundable if you cancel. There is optional trip insurance available when booking direct.
Is parking available?
Yes. There are two parking spots in the driveway. There is additional parking just around the corner in a free municipal lot.

Are linens and towels provided?
Absolutely! We provide plenty of fresh linens and towels for your convenience. Everything is laundered in unscented/sensitive skin detergent. All soaps, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided are non-toxic, cruelty-free, and unscented.

Do I get a daily clean?
We clean the cottage thoroughly between guests but don't provide any more cleanings during the stay. If you would like, we'll happily provide pricing from our cleaning team. We have done everything from daily linen changes and cleans to just a time or two during a stay. We are happy to accommodate whatever you need.

What should I bring for my stay?
We recommend bringing personal items like clothing, toiletries, beach gear, food, and favorite snacks. Everything else is provided for a comfortable stay.

Are there grocery stores nearby?
Yes, There's a Publix less than a mile away, with sidewalks the entire way. There's also a local place called Bedner's Market that's just .5 miles away. Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Fresh Market, Walmart, and Target are just a short drive away.

What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is at 4 pm, and check-out is at 11 am.

Is there air conditioning in the cottage?
Absolutely. The temp is controlled with an easily programmable Nest Thermostat to keep you comfortable during your stay.

What safety measures are in place?
We prioritize your safety with secure locks, smoke detectors, and fire extinguishers. Feel free to ask about any specific concerns. If you have children, we are happy to install the safety fence around the pool before you arrive. There is a privacy fence around the backyard, but an additional fence is available that goes around the pool and is secured into the decking. This is available upon request.

Are there laundry facilities available?
Yes. There's a full-size washer and dryer in a closet off the sunroom.

Is the cottage dog-friendly?
We love dogs and we are happy to rent to responsible pet owners.

Do you provide beach chairs and towels?
Yes. Chairs are in an outdoor storage chest, and extra towels inside for beach or pool.
